1st day
Arrival in Castell’Arquato, ranked among the most beautiful villages in Italy. Going up the characteristic narrow streets admiring, from the lower town towards Piazza Monumentale, and a visit to the village, the Rocca Viscontea and the Collegiata, an ancient Romanesque parish church dedicated to Maria Assunta.
Lunch/Tasting based on typical Piacenza products
In the afternoon transfer to Vigoleno and guided tour of the medieval village still surrounded by the ancient walls. Climb to the Torrione to admire the fantastic panorama over the Stirone Valley and then walk among the charming little squares until you reach the ancient Pieve di San Giorgio.
Visit to a production cellar of Vin Santo di Vigoleno and tasting.
Transfer to Piacenza.
Dinner in a typical restaurant.

2nd day
After breakfast, check out and brief visit to the city followed by transfer to Val Trebbia.
Guided tour of a winery and tasting of Piacenza wines.
Lunch based on typical products
In the afternoon, a guided tour of the Castle of Rivalta. The manor, richly furnished, is revealed through a path between halls, kitchens, prisons and bedrooms, to culminate in the tower with an unmistakable shape.
