Parma – Reggio Emilia

I arrive in the morning

10.30 departure for the Parma City Tour to discover the historic center of Parma with a pleasant two-hour walk through the streets and alleys of the city. In the company of a local tour guide you will admire the most evocative and fascinating places in the historic center and you will get to know what makes Parma so special!. The visit itinerary takes place completely outdoors, there are no entrances to the monuments.

In the afternoon guided visit to a Prosciuttificio in Langhirano. transfer to Reggio Emilia and possibility of visiting the exhibition set up at the Palazzo dei Musei “On a different scale. Luigi Ghirri, Italy in miniature and new perspectives”

Return to the city and possibility to visit the exhibition “Labyrinths of vision. Luigi Ghirri 1991” a tribute to Luigi Ghirri, one of the greatest masters of Italian photography.

Fontanellato – Colorno

Transfer to Colorno guided tour of the Reggia di Colorno complex and the exhibition “Nino Migliori. The art of portraying artists”. Sumptuous and monumental residence of the Farnese and then of the Bourbons, and of Maria Luigi d’Austria. Attached to the Royal Palace is the French-style Historic Garden.

Visit to a Culatello production cellar, a masterpiece of Parma pork butchery art

Tasting lunch

In the afternoon transfer to Fontanellato and guided tour of the Rocca Sanvitale di Fontanellato where it is possible to admire the “Saletta di Diana e Atteone” frescoed by Parmigianino.
