Day 1 – Parma

Meeting with the guide for the tour of the historical centre of Parma with entrance to the Cathedral, Baptistery, Church of San Giovanni Battista and Camera di San Paolo.

Light Lunch with typical products

Visit to Palazzo della Pilotta, where you can admire the unique Farnese Theatre and the National Gallery which hosts paintworks by Correggio, Parmigianino and Leonardo.

Tasting dinner in a typical trattoria in the centre

Day 2 – Parma -Torrechiara

Wake up early and meet with the guide for a visit to the dairy where Parmigiano Reggiano is produced, we will observe the production process, the maturing rooms, at the end tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano.

Guided visit to Torrechiara Castle, a splendid 15th century manor with a frescoed heart surrounded by vineyards.

Transfer to the province of Reggio Emilia and visit to a traditional balsamic vinegar production.

Day 3 – Colorno, Fontanellato, Soragna

Guided visit to the Royal Palace of Colorno, great Farnese delight, Bourbon palace and place of the heart of Duchess Maria Luigia, which in 1807 became an imperial palace

Free lunch in the medieval village of Fontanellato

Visit to the Rocca San Vitale with its paintings by Parmigianino and the Camera Ottica (the only one still in operation in Italy)

Followed by a visit to the Rocca Meli Lupi di Soragna unique in that the interiors are finely furnished.
