Description
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, which falls as usual every 8 March, this special guided tour through the streets and enchanted places of the Borgo di Castell’Arquato will put the late medieval female universe at the center of the narrative. We will investigate together the life of women of the time, starting from the humblest figures up to some of the most powerful ladies of that period, such as Beatrice d’Este and Costanza Farnese, who had a strong influence in deciding the fate of Castell ‘Arquato. At the end of the visit it will be possible to toast in the Enoteca Comunale with a sparkling glass of local bubbles!
