

With more than 80 km winding through rows of trees and woods, the Food Valley Bike Route is a true hymn to tranquility.
Day 1: Parma – Colorno
Distance: approx. 40 km
Morning arrival in Parma, bike pickup, meet the guide, and start of the city tour. Coffee break at a local pastry shop before beginning the ride along the Food Valley Bike Route to the Mezzani river port, passing through the Parma Morta Nature Reserve.
Cycle along the Po River to the Po Fish Aquarium.
Break and picnic with a gourmet basket.
Continue along the Food Valley Bike Route to Colorno.
Check-in at the hotel. After a short rest, guided visit of the Royal Palace, the country residence of the Dukes of Parma, and its historic garden.
Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Roccabianca – Polesine – Busseto
Distance: approx. 38 km
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by bike along the Food Valley Bike Route to Roccabianca with a visit to the Roccabianca Castle.
Continue to Fontanelle for a visit to the birthplace of Giovannino Guareschi and San Martino Church.
The route continues to Polesine Zibello, the birthplace of the famous Culatello! Culatello is one of Parma’s top delicacies: a unique cured meat prized for its delicate taste and complex production. It is so valued it is often called the king of charcuterie.
Stop for a tasting and visit the Culatello Museum.
In the afternoon, continue to Busseto for a guided tour of Teatro Verdi and Roncole Verdi, including a visit to Giuseppe Verdi’s birthplace.
Return to the hotel by minibus. Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Colorno
Breakfast at the hotel. End of services.
