

Art masterpieces between Parma and Mantua
Day 1: Parma
Arrival in Parma in the late afternoon. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight.
Day 2: Parma and the National Gallery
Guided tour of the city of Parma, including the Baptistery, Cathedral, Piazza Garibaldi (the city’s heart today), the Teatro Regio, and the abbess’s chamber of the San Paolo Monastery, frescoed by Correggio. Lunch.
Afternoon dedicated to discovering the masterpieces of the National Gallery (Leonardo da Vinci, Correggio, Parmigianino…). Dinner tasting with a typical menu. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Sabbioneta et Mantua
After breakfast, depart for Sabbioneta, an extraordinary Renaissance fortified town and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Strolling along its walls and picturesque streets, you will feel transported back in time, immersed in the atmosphere of an ideal city designed for the refined prince Vespasiano Colonna Gonzaga, who created his personal paradise here.
The guided tour will take you to the heart of this Renaissance gem: explore the majestic Ducal Palace with the famous equestrian statues of the Gonzaga family, the Teatro all’Antica by Vincenzo Scamozzi, inspired by the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, and the Palazzo del Giardino with its spectacular Galleria degli Antichi.
Typical lunch, then depart for Mantua. Visit the Ducal Palace of Mantua and the Mantegna Bridal Chamber.
Walking tour of the city to discover its main squares and historic palaces.
Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 4 Parma
