Morning – Castell’Arquato, the medieval village

Arrival in Castell’Arquato and meeting with the guide.

Walking tour of the village, one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages, dominated by the majestic Visconti Fortress. From the top of the tower, visitors can enjoy an extraordinary view over the Val d’Arda. Guided visit to the Collegiate Church.

Tasting lunch (local cured meats and cheeses) at the municipal wine shop.

Afternoon – Vigoleno, fortified village

Transfer to Vigoleno and guided visit of the perfectly preserved medieval village. The itinerary includes:

• the patrol walkway and ancient walls
• the keep with views over the Stirone Valley
• the Romanesque Church
• the noble floor of the Castle, with historic rooms and period furnishings

Late afternoon – Gropparello Castle

Arrival at Gropparello Castle, a fortified stronghold perched on a green serpentine rock spur.

Guided visit of the interiors, historic halls, and defensive structures.

Final experience (optional)

Walk through the Fairy Tale Park, Italy’s first emotional park: a narrative and sensory route through woods, legends, and fantastical characters.

Aperitif at the Castle tavern.
